SURRENDER THY LOVE

The soul is naked
The scars so obvious
But I am not ashamed
For he has accepted me for who I am.

The world that asks, ‘what if it shatters?’
I have an answer for them,
The what ifs will not stop me because
I have faced it before and I shall do it again.

But now as I breathe him
I chose to ignore,
The world and its comments
And continue to love the Man

The Man who knows
How to mend broken hearts
The man is the cure
To this man I surrender my love.

To the women out there
Who love themselves more, I salute
But I take pride in loving him more
For he had gained my trust.

To the men out there
Laughing at me for worshiping love
I know what it feels, have learnt it well
From the souls that gave birth to me

The ones that call it a curse
I say, it’s a cursed blessing
For I have seen what it looks like,
Both happiness and pain.

It takes courage to love again
The man has earned mine
He’s the one who's worth,
The sacrifice and the suffering.

Come what may,
For he had not conquered me
But I had given my self
I surrender to his love and beyond.

P.S : Subjective to change, Anytime and Any-day because its all evolving and never static, especially the mind and mine to be precise.
I don't know if'll hold this thought about love tomorrow, but i will surrender to the unknown, always.
