MAYA VISAI

The theatre i was sitting in bore memories of the past that i wanted to erase. I had initially avoided coming to  the very place thinking that's the best way to get over the memories. It then took me months to understand “Well that's not how it's going to work”. So I learnt about recreation. Recreating the memories with new souls. Souls that would color my past vibrantly with happier memories.

So After a very long time i was brave enough to embrace the darkness and watch the Magic happen in the theatre. ( Every movie i watch in theatre is magical ). The soul that accompanied me was the wildest i have known. We chose that movie because we wanted to watch Maddy on screen and nothing else.  There was no expectations from our side but to just sit back and watch a good movie and also eat SPI’s popcorn. Well it turned out to be quite an experience. Everything about the movie was inspiring, Especially the song Maya Visai.

Yes, that's how I got the name. But I was looking for reasons beyond the movie to think if this was it. I was curious to know the english translation and Asked my father about it. He said “Oh, It's Magical Force”

Bingo ! For an avid reader of paulo and one who believes in Magic and Miracles, what more could be an apt name.

So, that was the time when I had been wanting to start a blog but couldn't get hold of one because all the names i could think off was taken. I wanted to go with Vedanta (the knowledge of the self ) but I had no luck. The next option was Achcham Thavir which was fortunately available. But i didn't feel complete with the name. It took me close to two months before i got to Maya Visai.

Also, Maya had been my favourite name of all. I even had plans of naming my daughter (future ) that. Well, Had.

It was an Eureka moment for me that evening. I came back and created my own blog (with blogspot though) . One because my senior had one with google and also because WordPress was too shitty ( Not a tech savvy person ) to handle back in 2016.

Well, so far things have been going great with Maya Visai and I had been thinking of writing this one for a long time, so I didn't have to answer all the 5 W’s and H. But apparently i ended up answering all of them individually and heights would be when people came back to me months after i started the blog with a “ Hey, look i saw this song and it says Maya Visai” or “ Hey, You took the name from this song only know ? ” and i would reply them as polite as i could “Yes, that’s where i got the inspiration from” or “ Ama da, i took it from this song yes”

So, Why am writing this now after two long years is to reconfirm myself if the Name was okay to get going with or if i should stick to Niveda , Expand the suffix or something original of that sort. But it seems like i’m not going to for now. I repeat, For Now, because a great brain said it was a nice coinage ( A honor ) and my favorite brain said “Why would you want to give up that. It's classy" So Yes i’m going to continue being the Maya Visai girl for now.

P.S Well, one reason was a “ I wish i could use a swear word” company had started a firm  with the name and i could no more create my own page with Maya Visai.

Ha, Never Mind, probably I'll go check with numerology and add a few ‘A’ and ‘I’ to the name and create one.
